Broadwing Designs is based in Portland, Oregon and managed by Anna Lewis (with generous help from friends and family!). Its goal is to provide high-quality animal-themed shirts and gifts with excellent customer service. If you live in the Greater Portland Metro Area, we even make house calls! 

 

Anna was raised in a family in which work ethics were extremely important. Her father opened his own metal shop when she was about five years old, and based his home business on the craftsmanship of his work and the network of word-of-mouth referrals which it generated. Stan’s Cat Works has prospered to this day on a very simple philosophy: be fair to your customer and always do the very best you can to make your customer happy. 

 

When you place an order with Broadwing Designs, we will do everything possible to make sure that you will get your order as soon as you can. If an item is backordered, we will contact you promptly so you know when to expect it. If you need it shipped, we will give you a choice of carriers, shipping costs and delivery speeds. If you’re ever unsatisfied with any order for any reason, we will do everything possible to make it right, even if it means a refund or exchange. Our goal is to make sure you are happy with your purchase. (No unsatisfied customers yet!) 

 

Broadwing Designs is very environmentally conscious. We support several animal conservation nonprofit organizations and try to find product lines which use natural materials and local labor (at least U.S. based) as much as possible. Long-term plans call for a storefront that participates in renewable energy sources to help protect the environment. 

 

Broadwing Designs focuses on animals because Anna realized that just about everyone has a favorite animal of some sort. Her personal favorites include birds of prey (especially red-tailed hawks and kestrels), reptiles and the ever-popular dogs and cats. Her first pet (at age 2) was a gunmetal-gray Shetland pony, and the woods behind her house offered a constant supply of snakes, mice, frogs and bugs to play with. Her home is currently occupied by three snakes (two ball pythons and one corn snake) a Siamese fighting fish and a husband, but she’s also saving her pennies to get a huge black Labrador.
